Built on an abandoned C & O Railroad line, the 11.5-mile Fred Meijer Berry Junction Trail is fully paved allowing you to ride from Muskegon to Hart on one continuous path. The trail meanders through mostly oak and pine forests crossing Bear Creek and runs along side Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park, one of Michigan’s most visited attractions.
The trail leads to the Whitehall Pathway at the Northern end, which will connect to the Hart-Montague trail in Montague.
On the Southern end it connects to the Muskegon Lakeshore Trail, on to the Laketon Trail in Muskegon, which leads to the western trailhead for the Musketawa Trail, that connects Muskegon to Grand Rapids.
There are main road intersections along the trail that lead to Muskegon State Park, Muskegon County Pioneer Park and Duck Lake State Park, all located on the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan.
