Friends of the Berry Junction Trail

Friends of the Berry Junction Trail is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of West Michigan volunteers excited and committed to supporting the Berry Junction Trail. Resting on an old railroad bed between Muskegon and Whitehall, the Berry Junction Trail is a recreational trail used for individual, family, and organizational use.

The Friends’ mission is to act as a public advocate in support of the trail. As advocates, the Friends hope to gain support of government agencies, local businesses, and private citizens in maintaining the trail and any upgrades to the trail. The Friends are involved in construction projects, lobbying, fundraising, trail beautification, habitat and wildlife preservation, etc. Local businesses are encouraged to support these efforts in view of documented economic benefits brought on by similar trails.  Please contact us for more information or to request a brochure.
